Would you rather be a river or a drop in the ocean?

April 28, 2012

A thought I woke with today –

Unconditional love is like the presence of friends in  your network – your online friends, relatives who’re online, and strangers whose name also you do not really know. There is no action needed on either side. It is a state of being together, connected. ONE.

You river of activity flows into this ocean, seeking the way into its accepting heart.

Like and comments are like the guiding banks of the river. They show you which way to flow – what to post and what not to – in order to reach the ocean.

You may choose to be the drop of ocean water that joyfully leaps up to see and show its iridescence, unmindful of Likes or comments – knowing that the essence of the entire ocean is within us.

Social networking is allowing us to experience something unprecedented. It is now almost ubiquitous in our lives, and we forget that multitudes on the planet do not have access or even knowledge of it. Yes, however many mllions may be on Facebook, Google+ or other platforms, they are a fraction of human life on the planet.

Let’s make the most of  all opportunities presented to us for discernment!

Many of us think that we all are highly advanced in this worldly life but they just forget about the many more billions without any facilities at all.
