Letting in Light
As the solstice draws near, it occurs to me that most of the world still has a one-hemisphere thinking. We forget that if it’s winter for us, it’s summer for them – or the other way around. Come to think of it, thanks to social networking we now see that when we are waking, a friend is saying Good Night, and the reality of all times on earth at all times begins to dawn.
Doesn’t a breaking heart allow love to flow?
Sunsets and sunrise ~ don’t they look the same?
Aren’t protests an acknowledgement of the other?
Aren’t bells cracked by the maker, to allow the metal to expand?
Aren’t we always uniquely together?
I enjoy inconsistency, imperfection, a bit of chaos in life. it allows the inner perfection to flow. Today I have fallen in love with Leonard Cohen’s poem Anthem live. Thanks to dear friend Anna who posted it in her profile.
The poem inspired me!
Thanks for the Light. We forget entirely the Southern hemisphere too.
((( resonating )))
Your words remind me of what non-violence teaches, that until we get beyond “us and them” thinking, we tend to create polarities. Thank you.
thank you friends. together we can see the whole
