Stillness~ Unfolding the Lotus Heart

June 11, 2011

You are a lotus bud, your heart enclosed in the petals that meet as a hand folded in prayer

One petal unfolds, then another, and the heart begins to expand into the light

The primeval mud of Mother Earth continues to nourish, nurture and support you as you grow towards the celestial glow of the nurturing Father Sun

The rich waters in which you blossom connect you to the aliveness of the still pond, the fish, microbes, flora, fauna.

As you flower, all components grow into their full splendor, meeting at your beautiful heart.

“The Lotus flower blossoms, baring its exquisite beauty to all those who are aware enough to recognise God unfolding.”~Patricia Cori

The breezes blow, the pond ripples, you sway.
Internally, you are in stillness.
Alive.
Vibrant.
Enjoy this in shared silence.

The breezes blow, the pond ripples, the lotus sways.
There is oneness of pond, sun, earth, water, mud, microbes, flora, fauna, all connected in Gaia

Yes definitely. It is in various places on the web and it is not known who holds copyright.

Yes of course, Mirjam. I found it on the web, in multiple websites so the source is uncertain.

Thanks Sue. Done. I have a suggestion that I make to any artist I am fortunate enough to find – please watermark your paintings posted on the web; because like me others too would like to know the artist behind the inspiring work. And a request – if you make any art of Gaia, I would love to feature it on the Gaia Minute page http://facebook.com/gaiaminute
