Marveling at water on Blog Action Day

October 15, 2010

Condensed into clouds

Vapor falling as rain

Forming puddles, rivulets, falls,

Filling ponds,  lakes, rivers, oceans

Bringing life, preserving fossils, feeding reservoirs

Bringing joy, quenching thirst, moistening food

Ferrying passengers human, animal, flora

Launching expeditions through inner and outer space

Cleaning, rinsing, freshening

Formless , it provides form

Yielding, it provides support,

Cleansing, it requires our co-operation to stay clean

I marvel at this

How many ways there are to wonder at water

Without ever mentioning the word!

The water within me greets the water within you

Kathy, I sometimes think that when we connect to each other, it is the water within one reaching out to the water within the other…

Think I”ll add this to my post. 😉 Your ‘shiver’ brought this on! I love it when you visit.

I can hear the water in the background as I meditate on your blog… very serene and a great reminder of our mother earth’s great treasures – a very healing gift with your words. Namasté

Icebergs and snow also another form of preserving the water. All the water of this earth never goes away. It is being recycled in the natural way. One of the Mother Earth/Gaia’s another wonder or miracle. we just don’t care about it but it does care about it. when scarcity occurs only we open our eyes. I saw a book on water published by US government and issued free. Thanks you very much for this elaborate posting.
