Satisfying our deepest yearning

October 10, 2010

On the Gaia Minute Forum, Tai and I are playing a round-robin game of haiku. That’s how I’m learning to write them. She writes a three liner 5-7-5 syllable haiku about love for Gaia, I continue from her last line,  and then she from mine. Everyone can join in, but so far, it’s her and me and we’ve been enjoying this for months.

As I searched for an image to add to the haiku I continued today, I came across an image that had been made for me by a very gifted designer. This was many moons ago.  She interviewed me when I was about to start a company, cast my horoscope, asked what I wanted, had me draw a sketch…and then proceeded to provide something completely different from what I had visualized.

It was exactly what I wanted.

The image follows me still, long after it has outlived its usefulness as a corporate logo.

Today’ s community haiku

following our dreams

the universe satisfies

our deepest yearning

[This logo without the words was made for me by a gifted designer who sensed ages ago an image that spoke of my heart]

Enjoyed poems by Gien and Taikun ping almost daily but that has been suspended. Gift has been presented again via this. God and Swami are blessing all of us.

yes, I’ve been missing Gien’s writing too. Tai has been sharing on the haiku thread and also at A New Gaia.

I loved seeing you on the haiku thread, Sanmugan!
