Stepping into that vast unknown
October 11, 2009
There is a point when the traveler once again comes to a bend in the labyrinth.
In the labyrinthine maze of life
In the labyrinthine maze of the unending universe.
All that is known flies off.
All that has been learned falls away.
All that is received vanishes.
All that is left is the traveler in that moment of space and time.
All that is.
What happens each time the vessel becomes full? The fullness at first allows the vessel to rise beyond the darkness. Once it’s full, it stagnates and begins to descend.
Awareness, courage – what is needed to let go all that is known and step joyfully into that vast unknown?
To become empty again?
Perhaps it is love. Another word for faith.
