Hello, early bird!
Am I correct in saying that these shades of purple (magenta?) are uncommon dawn colours – even sunset colours? I know that, in certain situations, at certain times, mountain ranges colour this way with spectacular results.
Hi Ian; the sky seemed red when I saw it this morning. Very unusual for sunrise, which is when I snapped these pictures. It turned pink within minutes, as you see towards the end. I took these without a flash so that’s exactly the colors I saw. Nature was putting on a show, it seems!
